  • Advisor: Mrs. Gallagher
  • Do you like arguing? If so, this is the club for you (if the name didn’t give it away). Students debate in teams of two on politics/current events, and work on their cases throughout the season. The club participates in 5-6 tournaments throughout the year.

DECA: Fridays at 7:00 a.m. in Rm. 136/139

  • Advisors: Mrs. Wilczewski and Mrs. Doyle
  • Not a humanities or STEM kid? Then clear your schedule for Friday mornings. Students work on their business skills and compete in two competitions to test their expertise.  They also participate in a multi-school workshop to learn more.

History Through Film: Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. in Rm. 223

  • Advisor: Mrs. Gallagher
  • For all you history nerds! The club watches films that are connected to various historical events just for fun. JUST FOR FUN. Drop in when you want-when the movie interests you. The whole thing is pretty relaxed.

Model UN: Tuesdays at 7:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. in Rm. 203/206

  • Advisors: Mrs. Dudgeon and Ms. Corbin
  • AKA political LARPing. Before a conference, the club is assigned a country in the UN to research. At conferences, members are put on different committees (e.g., a human rights committee) to negotiate policies and solve problems that relate to current events. The name is pretty self-explanatory-students act as a model UN.

National History Day club: Thursdays bi-weekly at 7:15 a.m. in Rm. 113

  • Advisor: Ms. Dolce
  • AGAIN for all you history nerds! Students conduct original research on historical topics of their choice. Students submit their projects initially at local and state levels, and the state winners “move up in the ranks” to nationals.
