Calculus Club: Tuesdays at 3:00 in Rm. 343

  • Advisor: Ms. Gagnon
  • This one’s for the real smarties. The club is basically an extra help/study group for calculus. The members are given math problems to solve, and then they go over the answers.

FIRST Robotics Club: Thursdays 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Rm. C128/C129

  • Advisor: Mr. Fowler
  • Think Terminator, or Big Hero Six. This club is perfect for you if you are interested in programming, building, or just plain fundraising. Every year, there is a universal task/challenge presented to all teams, and they have to build a robot that can complete the challenge.

Math Team: Mondays at 7:00 a.m. in Rm. 340

  • Advisor: Mrs. Hazelton
  • Calling all math lovers! We know you have to be out there somewhere. This team participates in six math competitions throughout the year, one of which is the state competition. During meetings, members practice math problems.

Science Olympiad: Tuesdays at 3:00 in Rm. 232

  • Advisors: Mrs. Nutting and Ms. Baney
  • Calling all science nerds. At the beginning of the year, choose a field to specialize in (physics, chemistry, etc.). At competitions, you are given science challenges to solve. Essentially the science version of Math Team.

T.S.A. (Technology Student Association): Times/dates vary in Rm. C128/C129

  • Advisor: Mr. Fowler
  • This has nothing to do with airport security. The club is similar to Science Olympiad, with more of a focus on technology and design. There are different challenges a team can choose.
